Our half-day tour of Lima packs in all the history, culture, and sight-seeing you could hope for. We will take you through the ages, beginning in the pre-Hispanic era, moving through colonial times, and finishing with some very modern views of this endlessly interesting city.

 

Highlights of this tour, departing from Lima year-round:

  • ​Historical Center of Lima, site of over fifty monuments and Colonial sites, such as the Paseo de la República, San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace.

  • Museum of the Banco Central de Reserva (price of admission included), where we will admire an exhibit featuring objects made of gold, ceramics and textiles from different pre-colonial cultures.

Lima City Tour & Pachacamac

This tour is a must for any history buff, or visitors who want to get to know Lima on a deeper level. Come learn about Lima's transformation from pre-Hispanic times, to the colonial era, up until the modern day.

 

Itinerary, departing from Lima year-round:

  • ​A panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana,” the ancient clay pyramid

Barranco Tour Dinner Show

Nightlife in Peru is not something to be missed, especially in the lovely district of Miraflores, where the legendary Dama Juana restaurant hosts a night of music, food, and folklore.

 

In this tour, we will take you to the bohemian district of Barranco, where you will see the “Puente de los Suspiros” and delight in some spectacular sights of the Pacific Ocean.

Finish the night off at the Dama Juana, one of the first restaurants of its kind. Here, you will feast on a buffet dinner, watch an exciting show with folkloric Peruvian dancing and music, and drink Pisco sours.

 

Your night out on the town starts at 6:45 pm every evening, departing from Lima year-round

We will also visit an exclusive restaurant, “La Rosa Nautica,” where you will have the opportunity to prepare your very own Pisco Sour and the famous “Ceviche”. Later you will enjoy a delicious lunch, consisting of the most symbolic dishes of Peruvian cuisine.

 

By the end of this 3.5 hour excursion, you will know all about Peru's amazing gastronomy. This includes all of the education, tasting, lunch, and the opportunity to try your hand at Peruvian cooking. This tour departs from Lima year-round.
