A completed application and a non-refundable $500 deposit are required to reserve a booking/tour. A confirmation will be sent via e-mail to your e-mail address on file within 5 business days of payment. The deposit is fully refundable if we cannot secure your booking/tour. A second payment of 50% of the booking/tour is due 120 days prior to departure. Full payment must be received 30 days prior to departure date to ensure booking is not interrupted.
Payment can either be made by Pay-pal, direct deposit, or check. If Pay-pal is used, there is a 3% processing service fee when using debit or credit card payments. Pay-pal payment can be made online at Conquer Peru website. Check or cashier’s check should be made out to "Conquer Peru" and mailed
to: Conquer Peru, P.O. Box 984, Woodinville, WA 98072. Payment by direct deposit must be made to BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union) Conquer Peru checking account number 3603525532.
Cancellation fees are computed, as of the date we receive your e-mail cancellation notice, as follows:
More than 90 days prior departure: $100 plus $400 for Inca Trail permit (if purchased).
89 to 61 days prior departure: $200 plus $400 for Inca Trail permit (if purchased).
60 to 31 days prior departure: 50% of land cost plus $400 for Inca Trail permit (if purchased)
30 days or less to departure: 100% of selling price
DEPOSIT FEE FOR EXTENSIONS:
A non-refundable $100 per person deposit fee is required to extend your trip. Full payment is required at the time we receive your e-mail extension request. The deposit is fully refundable if Conquer Peru cannot secure your extension booking(s).
International/Domestic Flights: In order to offer our low prices, we have to secure all international and domestic flights at least 90 to 60 days before departure. Earlier bookings are encouraged to avoid higher airfare costs. Airline ticket costs are subject to Airline policies and are non-refundable or transferable after purchase. If your Airline tickets are refundable or insured, the traveler is responsible to dispute refund with the Airline (third party) directly. Conquer Peru will not accept any responsibility for mistakes, errors, or changes in airfare bookings made by either Conquer Peru or independent third parties. Conquer Peru will automatically request aisle and adjacent seats for those traveling together but cannot guarantee seat assignments. Conquer Peru is not responsible for any additional fee (including baggage charges) assessed by airlines.
AIRLINE TRAVEL CHANGES:
Last minute bookings are subject to availability and may incur on higher airfare costs. A deviation from the scheduled pre-planned travel dates (due to weather, delays or unforeseen Airline changes/cancellations, or medical emergencies/illness) are the responsibility of the traveler and Conquer Peru does not refund those lost costs.
TRANSPORTATION & BAGGAGE:
Transportation Changes: Airport/Hotel transportation transfer reservations, which are lost due to unforeseen events (see above) are non-refundable. The traveler will be responsible for any additional transportation rebooking cost.
Baggage: Weight restrictions may apply on International and domestic flights and additional cost are the responsibility of the traveler. It is the traveler’s responsibility to check with the airline for other baggage restrictions/additional costs applicable to international and domestic flights. Throughout the travel program, Conquer Peru does not assume any responsibility and is not liable, for any loss, damage, delay, or theft of baggage or personal effects. Any extra costs incurred, or additional coordination needed due to the above, will be the responsibility of the traveler.
The name of each hotel will be providing in your final detailed itinerary. Due to limited hotel capacities, Conquer Peru will occasionally substitute a hotel of similar quality other than those listed rather than change or cancel your itinerary.
Conquer Peru highly recommends the purchase of trip cancellation/interruption insurance to protect your travel investment. The coverage generally reimburses the nonrefundable air and land costs should you have to cancel due to a medical emergency or illness involving yourself, a family member as well as expenses of a medical evacuation. In the event that you must cancel your participation in a travel program, trip cancellation insurance may be the only source of reimbursement. Additional baggage insurance is also recommended.
A passport valid beyond your date of return is required. Perú, does not require previously issued visas from USA citizens. Those with passports from other countries call the appropriate consular office. Students need to have a valid (must to be valid during time of trip) International Student Identity Card (ISIC) in order to have a student discount. Conquer Peru disclaims any and all liability with respect to a client's false or inaccurate representation.
All participants must be in general good health. Trip members must declare if they have any illness or medical condition and must bring their own medicines. Please consult with your doctor for any required immunizations.
VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate on the trip designated on this application and that I have carefully read and understand the description, terms, conditions and recommendations of the trip in the enclosed itinerary. I am participating in this trip with knowledge of the hazards involved. I am aware that Conquer Peru travel to remote areas like the ones visited in this trip, involves risks and dangers including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, high altitudes, travel by raft, boat, plane, automobile, horseback or by other means of conveyance, or on foot; the forces of nature; civil unrest; terrorism; accidents or illness without access to means of evacuation or the availability of medical supplies; the negligence (but not willful or fraudulent) on the part of Conquer Peru or others; or factors known or unknown. I am also aware that medical services or facilities may not be readily available or accessible during some of the time that I am participating in the trip. I hereby accept and assume full responsibility for any and all risk of illness, injury or death. In consideration for being permitted to participate in this trip, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators; waive and release any and all claims that I may have against any and all persons affiliated with this event including but not limited to, Conquer Peru, agents, employees or associates, arising out of, or in any way connected with my participation in the trip. I further attest that I am physically fit and I have prepared myself for the trip.
Conquer Peru reserves the right to increase the trip price in the event of costs increases due to changes in air fares, currency fluctuations or park entrance fee increases. Conquer Peru reserves the right to cancel any package that does not reach a minimum level of participants to make it economically feasible for us to operate. We will inform you at least 45 days before departure. Conquer Peru is not responsible for any expenses incurred in preparing for a cancelled trip.
All itineraries are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control including, weather, road or trail conditions and flight schedules. Conquer Peru does not assume any responsibility nor shall it be liable for any loss, cancellation, costs, delays, irregularity, accident, injury, or damage to person or property damage, loss or theft of baggage and personal effect arising from or in connection with such services.
Conquer Peru reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with Conquer Peru, travelers agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Travelers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to their travel program escort at the beginning of their program.
