Day 1: Arrive Lima
Bienvenidos! Welcome to Peru. You will be transferred from Lima airport to your hostel.
Day 2: Lima City
Enjoy some breakfast, then explore Lima with your guide. Your tour begins with a culinary adventure to a typical bustling Peruvian marketplace. You’ll have the chance to learn to make classic Peruvian dishes like Ceviche and the authentic Pisco Sour drink.
In Lima, we will take you through the ages, beginning in the pre-Hispanic era, moving through colonial times, and finishing with some very modern views of this endlessly interesting city. Sites include a panoramic view of La Huaca Pucllana, historical downtown Lima, San Isidro, and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores.

Day 3: Ica
Ica boasts dynamic dunes and a vast desert transformed into fertile fields by ancient cultures. Explore a mysterious land of valleys, sun, beaches and a Natural Reserve inhabited by a lush variety of flora and fauna.
Transfer to the bus station. On arrival we will start with an Ica City tour, where you will see the Main Plaza, colonial houses, Sanctuary of Senor de Luren, and the Regional Museum. You will visit two large, modern wineries that produce huge volumes of wine and Pisco and two traditional wineries. Tasting will be provided!
In the afternoon we will be driven to the Oasis of La Huacachina Lagoon, a gorgeous lagoon surrounded by palm trees and huge sand dunes. You will have the chance to ride in a dune buggy, zipping up and down the dunes and also try sand boarding.

Day 4: Paracas
We will take the minibus to Paracas. After arrival we will go to the port for a trip to Ballestas Island via boat. This collection of rocky isles is home to an astounding concentration of marine wildlife unique to Peru’s coast, including penguins, sea lions, and even humpback whales and dolphins. You will also be able to see the famous three-pronged El Candelabro”, which is a large scale geoglyph carved into the sand like the Nazca lines; that may have served as a beacon to mariners.
In the afternoon will go to visit the Paracas National Reserve. This area is considered one of the most important ecosystems on the planet. During our visit we will see the beautiful cliffs and beaches.

Day 5: Cusco
We’ll arrive in the early morning for a welcoming reception and transfer to your hotel. Cusco is not just a simple town; it is a place of man-made beauty. Some consider it a time machine of sorts because it is the oldest inhabited city in the western Hemisphere, now called the archeological capital of America, and it is one of the new wonders of the world.
In the afternoon, the Imperial Cusco City tour starts. You will visit four archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman, where the Incas showed to the conquistadors the power of their Empire by building an incredible place using huge stones; Q’enqo, a ceremonial center; Pucapucara, a control point that served as a kind of customs office; and Tambomachay, a sacred place where Incas worshiped the water.

Day 6: Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes
Today we will see the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, we will stop to take in the iconic view of the Urubamba River that snakes its way through the valley. Your journey continues to the small village of Pisac, with a handicraft market, and the archeological complex of Pisac, where your guide will explain the history and Inca architecture of this wonderful site.
Next stop: Urubamba. Here, we will have lunch at a restaurant that specializes in the regional cuisine. Then we will head to Ollantaytambo, known as the living Inca city because it has kept the originality of the Inca style. An impressive archeological site can be seen here, made up of an enormous sculpture of the main Incan God called Wiracocha, carved into the mountainside.
You will take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, where we will transfer you to your hostel.

Day 7: Machu Picchu
An early morning, but it will be worth it. You'll wake up at 4:30am and have breakfast in the hostel, then take a bus to the top of Machu Picchu for a breathtaking sunrise view of this wonder of the world.
Our guide will take you on a 2 hours tour around the ruins, teaching you all about the ancient Inca city. After the tour you will have free time to wander around and explore by yourself, or you can choose to take a hike to Huayna Picchu, which is very steep and rugged, but rewarding. Once you reach the lookout point, you will get to witness a view of the city that only a handful of people in history have ever seen – past or present. Alternatively, you can choose to spend the rest of your morning exploring the town and village in and around Machu Picchu. Your guide can tell you about different hotspots you can check out. At the arranged time we will return to Cusco by train and transfer you to your hostel.

Day 8: Cusco
Today you will be seen off like royalty after an incredibly rewarding trip. We will take care of all the transportation arrangements. We will deliver you in style to the airport, where your flight awaits. We’ll help with whatever you need: Check-ins, tickets, luggage, etc.
